PTO Dollars at Work
The PTO has raised money and contributed in many ways over the years to make Folsom Elementary a place where your child will enjoy learning. Last year, the PTO contributed towards many items for the teachers and students. Some of the most important to help student learning included:
The High Touch High Tech Mobile Learning that came to the school and allowed for different grades to participate.
Several Mini Classroom Grants that funded: 5 classroom sets of Open Number Line Base Kits and Cards, 5 classroom sets of dry erase boards with whiteboard markers and magnetic dry erase board for kindergarten, 4 sets of literacy intervention book cartons for first grade, 7 numerical fluency and 120 chart flexible dry erase boards classroom kits, 7 VersaTiles Math small group kits and 7 sets of plastic envelopes for Guided Reading level books for second grade, 36 whisper phones for third grade, alternative seating including 28 lap desks, 21 wobble cushions, stability balls, wobble stools and kneeling mats for fourth grade, 60 stackable stools for Art, Gravity Maze design for GT, platform swing, mats, bean bag chair, weighted lap pad, weighted blanket, light filters and crawl tunnels for Motor Lab, 20 folding music stands, jumbo cardboard blocks, wooden magnetic matching picture game, vehicle magnets and door basketball hoop for Speech Therapy
PTO Membership 2018-2019
Membership in the Folsom Elementary PTO helps fund many PTO activities for students, parents and teachers. Membership includes access to our ONLINE directory and Facebook page. Please note that membership is for the CURRENT school year which ends June 30, 2018.
Annual Family Membership: $25.00
Annual Teacher Membership*: $15.00
*Must be a teacher for the current school year within Prosper ISD.
